Eugene Salandra

An Italian-American native of New Jersey, I earned a BFA in Film and Television at New York University, and studied figure drawing at the Art Students' League of New York. I have worked for over three decades as an animation artist in television and film, primarily storyboarding children's entertainment for Disney. Storyboard for "Bigger is Better," Amber's anthem from Sofia the First























































































































I was delighted to storyboard Amber's anthem, "Bigger is Better," for Sofia the First, under the direction of Jamie Mitchell.  Darcy Rose Byrnes, the young actress who voices the character, gave a tour de force performance, so visualizing it was a proverbial piece of cake!
